The Animal Sheltering Board, which resides within the New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Department, needs continued support in order to carry out its work to license humane euthanasia professionals, to assist local shelters in implementing best practices and standards for their facilities, and to establish statewide spay-neuter plans that can save thousands of lives of companion animals.
